A weekly GTM operating rhythm for lean teams

A practical cadence that keeps a small go-to-market team aligned without filling the calendar.

Understand the decision

Begin with changes in pipeline, customer feedback, active tests, and launch dependencies. Discuss only signals that require a decision, not a tour of every open task. Keep the underlying CRM view, call note, or launch tracker visible so the team works from evidence.

Put the practice to work

Give each meeting one job. Use a weekly priority review to choose focus, a short checkpoint to clear dependencies, and a retrospective to capture learning. Cancel checkpoints that have no decision or exception. Record every commitment with one accountable owner and an observable due result.

Review and improve

Review recurring blocks monthly. Repeated approval delays, missing inputs, and unclear handoffs usually indicate an operating design problem. Change the workflow or authority boundary, then check whether the same block appears in the next cycle.
