Can a Second Reviewer Continue the Go-To-Market Strategy And Revenue Operations Handoff?
Assess whether GTM handoffs contain the decisions, materials and recipient acknowledgement needed to continue work without reconstruction.

Define the receiving task
Select one handoff type, such as a launch brief moving from product marketing to campaign operations. Identify the next action the recipient must perform and the information that action requires. Avoid applying the same checklist to every workflow.
Freeze the handoff population and review window. Include returned and unresolved items, not only successfully completed work. This is a proposed review method; it does not report measured completion rates.
Inspect the usable package
Check the objective, audience, approved message, current assets, owner, deadline and acceptance criteria relevant to the task. Follow the links and confirm that the intended recipient can access the correct versions through the approved process.
Distinguish present from usable. A link to a folder is not equivalent to an identified approved asset. Record missing decisions separately from inaccessible files or unclear ownership so the remediation reaches the right person.
Compare checklist status with recipient acceptance
Record when the sender marked the handoff ready and when the recipient accepted it. Capture return reasons and clarifications without treating every question as a failed handoff. A scope change after acceptance belongs in its own category.
Review disputed cases with both sides. Report counts for ready and accepted, returned for missing inputs, changed scope and still unresolved. If a percentage is used, state its denominator and preserve cases that could not be assessed.
Close the missing decision
Illustrative finding: a campaign package contains finished creative but no approved audience exclusions. The receiving team cannot safely finalize its setup. The coordinator routes the decision to its owner, updates the package and obtains acknowledgement.
Use recurring gaps to revise the handoff requirement, with an owner for each required decision. Recheck comparable handoffs after the change. The useful outcome is a package that supports the next action, not a longer checklist.
